These beauty-loving celebs are celebrating gender diversity in the industry.

Jonathan Van NessGwyneth Paltrow, Naomi Watts and more celebrity beauty brand founders are coming together to celebrate gender diversity in the beauty industry.

In partnership with BeautyUnited, a nonprofit dedicated to using their network of influential celebrities to make the beauty industry a more diverse and inclusive place through community, education and support, these beauty-loving celebs have teamed up for the "Gender Diversity is Beautiful" campaign, which launches today, Sept. 21, with the goal of "driving awareness and education around rights for Trans and Gender Non-Conforming people. "

The group created a video using their personal cell phones, stitching together an important message calling for support in the fight for LGBTQ+ rights.

"The overturning of Roe v. Wade is heartbreaking," Queer Eyes' Van Ness started, with Paltrow cutting in to say, "but we'll never stop fighting to right this wrong."

"It's time to activate," Watts called out next, "and organize," Gloria Noto finished.

Industry leaders continued on, explaining how the beauty community has always been a safe haven for "all types of people" and how they're committed to making sure it stays that way, especially in light of the 330 anti-LGBTQIA+ bills that were filed in the U.S. over the last year, threatening the self-expression of Trans and Gender Non-Conforming people, especially.

These founders, leaders and allies are taking a stance against the harmful legislation to embrace, celebrate and support all genders and identities.

BeautyUnited co-founder and co-chairperson Moj Mahdara teamed up with Mazdack Rassi, co-founder of Milk Studios and Milk Makeup, to ideate the campaign.

"As someone who is a GNC, non-binary, queer person, the path to my true self has taken a long time," Mahdara said in a press release. "This work is deeply personal, my passion is deeply personal. From inclusivity in the workforce, to representation across all ranks of business, and adequate representation in benefit packages, including healthcare, change needs to happen. As someone who recently underwent top surgery, I first hand witnessed the prejudice within the healthcare package."

Julee Wilson, Executive Director at BeautyUnited, added, "It is time for both systematic and stigmatic change within the beauty industry for a more inclusive workforce. The Trans and GNC community has long since been a foundational part of the industry, we must work together to educate, support and generate change."

And this video is just the first step; the organization is also working on a pledge for companies to take to ensure nondiscrimination in their workplaces.
