Jonathan Scott's Birthday Dinner for Zooey Deschanel Featured Lots of Pink and a Multi-Course Dinner

Actress Zooey Deschanel celebrated her 42nd birthday earlier this week, and her beau Jonathan Scott pulled out all the stops to ensure that a memorable party was had. Over on Instagram, the Property Brothers star shared a few flicks from the birthday celebration to give fans a glimpse at the darling set up.

Scott kept the decor "pretty in pink," opting for pink flowers and desserts (two cakes and cupcakes!). Whimsical handwritten name cards and a multi-course dinner were among the extravagant touches.

"Fun fact…I love to plan an intimate party…especially for this gal 🥰. It’s all about the details…Thanks Emily, MJ and Caleb for the help," Scott wrote in the caption to his Instagram post.

Deschanel shared her own Instagram post following the party, describing it as "The best (birthday) dinner date."

The birthday festivities come just a few weeks after it was revealed that the couple purchased and are currently renovating their dream home. The home, which they've already dubbed the "Park House" due to its substantial outdoor space, is a 1938 Georgian-style home that Scott described simply as "magical."
