Jonathan Adler is well known for his refreshing approach to design. Vibrant patterns, bold hues, and an unapologetic sense of whimsy drive his successful business. Now, he's inviting you to bring a taste of his unique aesthetic into your home with his latest fabric collection for The Shade Store, the leading custom window treatment company.

The designer and potter first partnered with The Shade Store in 2017 on a line of roller shades, but this time around, Adler is offering personality-packed fabrics for drapery, roman shades, and cornices. The thoughtful collection features three new patterns: Peking Greek Key, an energetic tri-color take on a traditional motif; Versailles Cube, a classic deco cube pattern with a striking three-dimensional effect; and Meurice, a modern update of a woven bamboo-inspired design. It can be purchased at The Shade Store's showrooms across the country (there are more than 70) and via theshadestore.com.

So what inspired Adler to introduce the fabric collection? "My motto in life is more, more, more, and this collection with The Shade Store is just that,” said Adler. “There is something for everyone in each of the new patterns. They perfectly mix high design with easy-to-use elements and, depending on the color, the fabrics can be mid-century magic, Palm Beach preppy, or ultra-glamourous.”

According to Ian Gibbs, co-founder and chief creative director of The Shade Store, partnering with the acclaimed designer for a second time was a no-brainer. “We love the way Jonathan’s patterns bring a unique, eye-catching aesthetic to window treatments and we are excited to grow our partnership with such a talented designer,” Gibbs said. “His vibrant patterns are a client favorite for roller shades, and we look forward to bringing his aesthetic to additional product categories.”

But before you begin browsing the new fabric line, keep in mind that Adler has one rule for window treatments. "My only rule–when it comes to rooms or windows–is to banish the banal," he says. "This collection announces to the world that you’re glamorous, fearless, and have impeccable taste—not bad for a window treatment."
