The Jonas Brothers Shared Adorable Throwback Videos to Celebrate the Release of Happiness Begins

It's their first album together in 10 years.

It’s release day for the Jonas Brothers’ new record, Happiness Begins, and the brothers are celebrating with some adorable throwback videos from their past. It’s their first album together since they broke up in 2013, and the excitement around their comeback hasn’t died down since it was announced. Each brother took to Twitter to post about the new album and share a little bit about how important it is to each of them; their reunion has been significant not only for the fans, but for Kevin, Joe, and Nick, too.

“#HappinessBegins now,” tweeted Joe. “Writing this album was personal and raw and the fact that you guys have it now has me feeling so emotional! It’s been 10 years and we can’t thank you guys enough. THE NEW JONAS BROTHERS ALBUM IS OUT F**K YEAH TELL YOUR FRIENDS.” Joe’s throwback video of choice features goofing off on the floor with Nick while Kevin leisurely reads a book about animals.

As for Kevin, he wrote, “This record means so much to us and now it’s yours. Just wanted to send a huge thank you to each and everyone of you guys for sticking with us on this crazy rollercoaster.” Kevin’s throwback video choice makes perfect sense: It’s of one of the brothers going to pick up hard-copy versions of their album Lines, Vines and Trying Times, which was released in 2009. (You can tell by Joe’s hair.)

Nick also posted the record-shopping video, writing, “This was 10 years ago almost to the day, and today my brothers and I have released our new album #happinessbegins thank you to everyone who stood by us every step of the way. We love you. This is for you.” Are you crying yet? We are.

This isn’t the first time the JoBros have dipped into their video archives to make us laugh. In February, they re-created the “Oh, How the Tables Have Turned” video, a classic from their early days, to celebrate their first single from Happiness Begins, “Sucker,” featuring Sophie Turner, Priyanka Chopra, and Danielle Jonas as the stars of the music video.

The throwbacks aren't the only things giving us all the feels. Thursday night, the Jonas Brothers and Spotify hosted the Carnival of Happiness in Brooklyn. They played some of their classics and offered a taste of their new album, but it was quite an emotional night for Kevin. The father told the crowd, “This is a particularly special night for me because this is the first time my girls are watching me perform,” and waved to his daughters, Alena and Valentina, and wife Danielle. He also posted a cute photo of his two kids enjoying the concert.

If you need us, we'll be busy listening to Happiness Begins on repeat.
