Jonas Brothers Perform Surprise Concert at Champs Sports Grill

The J-Sisters were there too.

The Jonas Brothers have been full of surprises lately — and they’re just getting started.

After quietly reuniting in March with the unexpected release of their single “Sucker,” the band followed up with another song and corresponding music video, titled “Cool.” And with an upcoming documentary and fifth studio album on the way, you’d think that would be more than enough to keep Nick, Joe, and Kevin pretty busy.

But one-upping themselves seems to be the name of the game in the Jonas Brothers’ comeback, which is why we probably should have expected a surprise concert at some point. On Friday, April 5, the group showed up at Champs Sports Grill in Pennsylvania to perform for a crowd of elated Pennsylvania State University students. (If you’ve been following Joe’s Twitter, you probably noticed that the singer-songwriter had been campaigning for Champs to win Barstool Sports’ competition for best college bar, and even hinted that he had “something special up my sleeve” if it happened.)

According to videos taken during the performance, the Jonas Brothers played a combination of old and new hits, taking the crowd on a pretty nostalgic trip down memory lane.

But it wasn’t just the Jonas Brothers that made a surprise appearance; the J-Sisters were there, too. Sophie Turner, Priyanka Chopra, and Danielle Jonas posed for an adorable group shot while on their private jet headed to PSU, and Sophie even got the crowd chanting “Lady Stark” as a nod to her Game of Thrones character.

Needless to say, there was a lot of FOMO this morning on social media from those who weren’t at the event. “The Jonas Brothers showing up on campus while I'm home for the weekend?” one person lamented, while another wished for the band to come to their campus instead. But given their affinity for internet-breaking moments lately, we wouldn’t put it past them to make another surprise appearance. Just to be safe, I’m going to start every weekend thinking “Maybe I’ll see a Jonas Brother tonight” — it’s always good to be prepared.
