Jonas Brothers Perform on Saturday Night Live

We're burnin' up for this moment.

Usually, stars performing on Saturday Night Live play their latest hits, but true to form, the Jonas Brothers did it a little differently. They did play their latest singles, “Sucker” and “Cool,” but also dipped into their back catalog to play one of their most iconic songs — and we’re totally losing it.

The JoBros took the legendary SNL stage on May 11 in coordinating red outfits, performing “Sucker” in their first set and slowing it down for “Cool” in their second performance. That wasn’t the only song they played in the second bit, though. At the end of the song, Nick stopped singing and said it was time to “bring it back” to their old school days, and that’s when they launched into the one and only “Burnin’ Up.” All three brothers looked pretty pleased by their surprise and like they were really enjoying this iconic slice of their past. Commence fan freakouts.

“JONAS BROTHERS SINGING “BURNIN' UP” ON SNL, THIS IS NOT A DRILL,” tweeted one fan, stressing the importance of this monumental occasion. “Not even gonna lie, I just cried watching the Jonas Brothers sing “Burnin' Up” on SNL,” added another. “JONAS BROTHERS PERFORMED “BURNIN' UP” ON SNL EXCUSE ME WHILE I GO CRY,” tweeted another JoBros stan, and honestly, weren’t we all feeling the same way?

The Brothers also appeared in a sketch during the show, playing three “boys havin’ fun” who burned down a house and thus had to appear in “Judge Court.”

We’ll definitely be seeing more of the JoBros now that they’ve kicked their reunion into high gear; their new album, Happiness Begins, comes out in June, along with an accompanying documentary, and upcoming tour to boot. We don’t know about you, but that SNL throwback moment has us “Burnin’ Up” for tickets.
