Jonah Hill's Ex Explains Why She Waited to Accuse Him of Misogynistic Behavior

Sarah Brady opened up about her decision not to come forward with her allegations against ex-boyfriend Jonah Hill sooner, and it's for a reason some may not have considered.

The former couple was together for a little over a year after they began dating in 2021, but it wasn't until this past weekend–about a year after she and Hill broke up and just weeks after the Don't Look Up actor and his current partner, Olivia Millar, welcomed their first child–that Brady went public with the accusations.

"I didn’t want [Olivia] to have to see all of this while she was pregnant because I didn’t know what kind of stress that would cause her and her baby physically," she said in a voice memo posted to her Instagram Story during the evening hours of Sunday, July 9.

Brady continued, admitting "the timing can seem bad" but that she wanted Olivia to receive the information so that she could "make an informed decision of how she wants to care for herself and her baby" going forward.

To recap, Brady took to her Instagram Story on July 7 with a series of screenshots of text messages allegedly sent to her from the actor, accusing Hill of "misogynistic behavior" and being "emotionally abusive" while they were together.

The text messages showed Hill asking Brady to take down photos from social media that he deemed inappropriate, as well as Hill suggesting she stop modeling and hanging out with specific friends, among other seemingly non-negotiable "boundaries" he set for her.

So far, Hill has not responded to Brady's claims or Parade's request for comment.
