JoJo Siwa Wants A Kissing Scene Removed from Her Upcoming Movie

JoJo Siwa is stepping into acting this year with two upcoming movies: J Team and Bounce, but it is the second one, based off a popular novel, that has JoJo a little hesitant. The dancer recently opened up about the role and one specific scene she's trying to get cut from the movie.

In Bounce, JoJo plays Franny, a girl who gets a Christmas wish and uses it to trade in her family for another one. According to Deadline, this causes Franny to start "bouncing" from one family to the next, reliving Christmas Day over and over again.

Right now, the movie is in early production, but JoJo is trying to get a scene, where she kisses her male co-star, removed. "I'm madly in love and I do not want to kiss another human," JoJo told Entertainment Weekly. "Especially because it's a man."

JoJo came out earlier this year and since, has been very public with her relationship with girlfriend, Kylie Prew. According to EW, JoJo is nervous her fans will think of JoJo as the one kissing a guy in the movie, not her character. "That's what they look at me as, not some character, not some fictional thing. And so it's going to be a little weird."

That being said, JoJo seems confident that she will be able to get the scene removed. "I'm not about it. I'm trying to get it pulled so bad. It'll happen. It'll get pulled," she said.

Following the publication of her interview with EW, JoJo took to Twitter to say that the film's creators are supportive of her.

"My friends at paramount and my friend Caleeb Pinkett are 1000% supportive of me and assured me that I don’t have to do anything I don’t wanna do ever!!!" she wrote. "I’m so excited to make the movie 'Bounce' and couldn’t have better people to make it with!!"
