JoJo Siwa Says GF Kylie Prew's Support During Historic "DWTS" Debut Made Her "Heart So Happy"

JoJo Siwa is living, breathing excellence. The YouTube megastar first made history with professional dancer Jenna Johnson as the first-ever same-sex team to hit ABC's Dancing With The Stars. On Monday, they earned the night's highest score during their debut.

JoJo and Jenna delivered an upbeat Quickstep routine to Jet's "Are You Gonna Be My Girl." The duo's energetic performance earned 29 out of 40 points putting them in first place.

The J-Team star recapped her DWTS debut with Entertainment Tonight after the show's premiere. "It was so cool! I didn't know when it happened," she beamed. "When Tyra [Banks] said it was the highest score of the night, I lost it."

Jojo's girlfriend Kylie Prew proudly supported her debut performance from the audience. According to ET, she was "cheering loudly and excitedly." Her support gave JoJo an extra boost of confidence. "Ky is literally the best human in the world," she said. "Having Ky scream for me here just made my heart so happy."

Prior to the show's premiere, JoJo said that along with hard work, she planned on manifesting her way into bringing home the show's Mirrorball championship trophy. "I have a lot of mirrorballs on me. I have a lot of little teensy ones every which way. I am manifesting it," she told ET.

JoJo also shared what appearing on the show means to her. "I obviously want to win. It's in my blood. I love to win but already doing what I did with this show and with this experience and dancing with another female and being the first, I've already won in a way and of course not the mirrorball yet -- hopefully, manifesting -- but everything that's happened so far and the reaction we've already received from the world is just amazing."
