JoJo Siwa Reveals She’s “Technically” Pansexual Two Months After Coming Out
JoJo Siwa is opening up about her sexuality two months after publicly coming out.
Back in January, when JoJo first came out as gay, she said she wasn't ready to put a label on herself. "I think humans are awesome," she said during an Instagram Live at the time. "I think humans are really incredible people. Right now, I'm super duper happy and I want to share everything with the world, I really do, but I also want to keep things in my life private until they're ready to be public."
Recently, JoJo spoke to People and it sounds like she's made some progress when it comes to exploring her sexuality. She admitted that she jokes she's Ky-sexual because her girlfriend's name is Kylie. In general, though, she has been sticking with the labels gay and queer.
"I always just say gay because it just kind of covers it or queer because I think the keyword is cool," she said.
Despite that, JoJo did say there was one other label that she thinks encapsulates her sexuality. "Technically I would say that I am pansexual because that's how I have always been my whole life is just like, my human is my human," she said.
In the interview, JoJo also revealed she met her girlfriend, Kylie, while on a cruise ship. "I told her my whole spiel that I tell everyone when they ask me my life story," JoJo said. "[Kylie] goes, 'I could have Googled that. I want to know your life story. You just told me about your career. I want to know about you.' And I was like, 'No one's ever asked me that before.'"
