JoJo Siwa Reveals Her House Was Burglarized in an Armed Robbery

On Tuesday, May 16, JoJo Siwa took to her Instagram Story with a very scary update. The teen star revealed that her home was broken into and that it was one of the "scariest things" she's ever experienced. The 19-year-old shared a video recording showcasing the moments two burglars forced their way into her home in Tarzana, California, and left with several items. A fan page reposted the clips of JoJo explaining what happened.
"We were robbed last night at 2:40(ish)AM," she revealed. "It was an armed robbery which is very scary. It was a REALLLLLY long night on the phone with my security, family, and LAPD," she said.
According to JoJo, there was "lots of materialistic damage" as a result of the break-in, but "that can all be fixed." The teen star said, "I'm just happy that my family and my pups are safe. Most important thing to me," and revealed that no one was "hurt" during the robbery. Thankfully, JoJo was not home at the time of the incident. According to Entertainment Tonight, she was on a cruise.
The frightening encounter left JoJo with a heartfelt message for her 11.3 million Instagram followers. "Do me a favor and hug your people extra tight tonight," she wrote. "Life is SCARY. And you never know when anything could happen."
TMZ reports police in San Fernando Valley received a call from an alarm company reporting a break-in. When officials arrived on the scene, the thieves had fled, and police discovered an open door. The suspects are still at large.
