JoJo Siwa Reveals Which Celebs Reached Out to Her After She Came Out
Ever since she publicly came out in January, JoJo Siwa has been living her best life as her authentic self. In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly for the publication's Pride issue, JoJo revealed which celebs reached out to her upon coming out.
A ton of people publicly showed support for JoJo when she came out, including celebs like Kim Kardashian, Lil Nas X, Lil Uzi Vert and Nikkie de Jager (a.k.a NikkieTutorials). But there was one person who texted and talked to the 18-year-old star on the phone.
"The night that I came out, Iggy Azalea actually texted me. She was like, 'Oh, my God, I’m so happy for you. This is amazing,'" JoJo told Entertainment Weekly. "It was like 3 a.m. at this point. This was before [girlfriend Kylie Prew] and I were on FaceTime every single night sleeping."
She also shared that she and Iggy talked for a while. "I got to tell her everything. It was really sweet. She was there as a friend," JoJo said.
Back in September, JoJo and Iggy collaborated on a YouTube video in which JoJo drives Iggy and Tinashe around Los Angeles. Iggy said some really sweet things to JoJo during the video as well.
"I always go deep into the internet and it somehow always leads back to your channel. Somehow all roads lead back to JoJo Siwa's YouTube," Iggy told JoJo.
In the past, Iggy has been super supportive of JoJo, so it's no surprise that she was one of the first to reach out when she came out.
