JoJo Siwa Responds to Haters Telling Her to “Act Her Age” on TikTok
There comes a time in everyone's life when they think, "Hm, how old is JoJo Siwa?" This, of course, leads to the inevitable Google search followed by the shocked text to friends: "GUYS, JoJo Siwa is 16!!??" Yup, the glitter-wearing, bow-loving dance is 16, and turning 17 next month, and she knows you're surprised by that.
In fact, JoJo made a TikTok addressing the fact that she knows that people think she seems younger. In the video, the singer is lip synching to Boss B*tch by Doja Cat, which starts with the lyrics, "I ain't tryna be cool like you." On the vid, JoJo wrote, "when 'normal' teenagers say to me, 'act your age.'"
In the caption of the TikTok, JoJo wrote, "'sHes oLdeR thAn ChArLi' is my personal favorite comment I get..." Of course, she's referring to Charli D'Amelio, who is almost exactly a year younger than JoJo, turning 16 next month. It seems that many are surprised that Charli is younger than JoJo considering Charli aesthetic seems older.
JoJo has been using TikTok a lot lately to speak her mind about people's opinions of her. When fans asked her to dress normal, she obliged for a split second, but not before rocking out in some of her craziest looks yet.
Of course, JoJo's age also became a topic last week when fans started talking about JoJo's alleged boyfriend, Elliott Brown, whom Twitter thought was 28. "So what ur telling me is JoJo Siwa is 16 and is dating a 28 year old and nothing is being said about that," one Twitter user wrote. Of course, they were mistaken and Elliott is only 18.

I, for one, am loving seeing JoJo take down the haters one TikTok at a time and I can't wait to see what she does next.
