Over the weekend, the singer dyed her blonde locks brown, and it looks so good.
When JoJo Siwa turned 17 last month, many started wondering if the singer would start to shed her colorful, kid-like aesthetic. Well, now it seems like the transition might be coming, and it's starting with a new hair color.
Over the weekend, JoJo debuted her new brown hair on TikTok while lip synching to Miley Cyrus' "I Can't Be Tamed." The song choice is interesting considering many have equated a possible shift in JoJo's aesthetic to the transformation Miley went through around 2010 when she transitioned away from Hannah Montana. When Miley released the song, it marked the end of her relationship with Disney and the beginning of her journey making edgier music.
"JoJo Siwa is going to have a Miley moment at some point and release good ass music and I STAND by that," one fan wrote on Twitter.

The situation got even weirder, though, when the YouTuber posted another video on TikTok. In the vid, JoJo is not only NOT wearing a bow, but she's also wearing her hair in a straight-back ponytail, as opposed to the side pony she usually rocks.
While JoJo hasn't explained her decision to dye her signature locks, she shared another video on Instagram joking about the makeover.

So, it's unclear what this all means exactly. It's possible JoJo was just looking to mix things up a little. I mean, she's not the only one to do a quarantine hair makeover. Or, the decision could means something more for JoJo's future. We will just have to wait and see.
