"I still don't know what I am. It's like, I want to figure it out. And I have this joke. Her name is Kylie. And so I say that I'm Ky-sexual," she told People. "But like, I don't know, bisexual, pansexual, queer, lesbian, gay, straight. I always just say gay because it just kind of covers it or queer because I think the keyword is cool."

Kylie, who describes herself as a human golden retriever in her IG bio, was one of JoJo's good friends for a while before they made things official.
"After being my best friend for over a year, January 8th, 2021 I got to start calling this exceptional human my Girlfriend... and since then I’ve been the happiest I have ever been!" JoJo wrote on Instagram in February of 2021. "She seriously is the most loving, supportive, happiest, protective, and just the most beautiful perfect person in the world. And I get to call her mine! "I told her my whole spiel that I tell everyone when they ask me my life story," JoJo told People. "She goes, 'I could have Googled that. I want to know your life story. You just told me about your career. I want to know about you.' And I was like, No one's ever asked me that before."
They officially started dating in January of 2021, according to Seventeen. And I just love these two!

The young lovers did break up for a little while—which was challenging for all their stans! The two had been doing long-distance and decided to split for a while in October 2021 while JoJo was filming DWTS.
At this time, neither one has shared what caused the split. And it seems that bygones are bygones because they're now back together again.

JoJo posted a truly heartwarming photo of the pair at Disney World, suggesting that they reconciled in May.
