JoJo Siwa could not be happier upon coming out last week and she made that very clear during her Instagram Live on Saturday.

"For the last 48 hours...I've gotten the most endless amount of love and support," she said on her livestream. "I am really really happy now that the world gets to see this side of my life."

On Thursday, JoJo posted a TikTok, singing the LGBTQ anthem "Born This Way," by Lady Gaga. She then made a video with the TikTok content house Pride House. At that point, many started congratulating JoJo, but it wasn't clear that she was coming out until Friday, when she posted a photo wearing a shirt that read, "BEST. GAY. COUSIN. EVER," gifted to her by her cousin.

While talking to her fans on the live stream, JoJo said that since the initial TikTok, she has received such a supportive response and has been feeling so happy. "It's been the best 48 hours," she said. "It really has been. Last night I laid in bed and I was just like, 'Woah. This is really awesome. I am so happy.'"

Then, fans started asking JoJo some questions about her coming out journey, like "what label are you?"

"You know, I have thought about this and the reason why I'm not ready to say this answer is because I don't really know this answer," she explained. "I think humans are awesome. I think humans are really incredible people. I, right now, am super duper happy and I want to share everything with the world, I really do, but I also want to keep things in my life private until they're ready to be public."

JoJo also revealed what it was like when she came out to her parents. "You want to know what my dad said?" JoJo asked. "My dad said, 'Hey man, love is universal.' My parents have known. My mom said that she's known for the last two years. She said, 'I just know with you.'..My family is awesome."

As for when JoJo knew, she isn't as sure, but she said she thinks she may have known her whole life. "I liked people, but I never had fallen in love before, but I always believed that my person was just going to be my person and if that person happened to be a boy, great, and if that person happened to be a girl, great," she said.

Of course, this got people asking about JoJo's ex, Mark Bontempo. JoJo announced her breakup with mark back in November 2020, so some fans asked if that was connected to her coming out. According to JoJo, though, it's more complicated than that.

"People in life break up and people as teenagers break up," she said. "You have a boyfriend or you have a girlfriend when you're six years old and you break up with them, you're not with them for forever. I was a teenager, I still am a teenager, but I think I'm pretty happy now. I think I'm pretty good now."

As JoJo answered these various questions on her Live, one thing remained constant the entire time: the giant smile on her face. "I'm the happiest I've ever been and that's what matters," she said.
