‘JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R’ Introduces a New Lineup of Characters

Bandai Namco has shared a trailer for the new fighters coming to JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R. An updated version of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle, the Battle R version integrates updates such as a tag-team “Support Attack” fighting mode, new voice cast members from the original anime and more.

The trailer reveals that the new characters are carried over from the manga’s fifth installment, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind, which doubles as the fourth season of the anime series. Players will soon be able to fight as Trish Una, Ghiaccio and Prosciutto and Pesci.

They’ll still have access to all of the characters from the eight story arcs of the original manga series. In total, Battle R will expand the roster from 41 playable characters to 50.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R is slated to arrive soon, with a September 1 launch date for PC. The following day, on September 2, the game will launch for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.

The game will be available in a Standard Edition, a Digital Deluxe Edition, and as a Collector's Bundle. The Digital Deluxe Edition will include a Season Pass, Animation Special Event Color Set, exclusive costumes and more, while the Collector’s Bundle will pack in the Color Set alongside a miniature Jolyne Cujoh statue.

In other gaming news, the 2014 dark fantasy RPG The Lords of the Fallen will receive a sequel game.
