Even Olympians have trouble balancing in heels.

Olympic figure skater turned NBC commentator Johnny Weir showed up for his latest broadcast in an #OOTD-worthy getup that included a Commes des Garcons blazer, RtA brand leather pants, and Chanel platforms. He looked ready for the runway — until he tried to take a step backward and fell, allowing NBC to catch the whole thing on video.

“I wore an aggressive platform tonight & fell during rehearsal. Enjoy!” Weir, ever the good sport, wrote on Instagram.

Watch as Weir’s co-hosts Tara Lipinski and Terry Gannon bust out laughing, then turn to help Weir get up. Weir is laughing right along with them, and fans are loving his goofy moment in the Instagram comment section. “This is exactly the laugh inducing content I needed before bed,” wrote one follower. “Oh you guys are the best. Always make me laugh,” agreed another.

Just because he fell doesn’t mean Weir wasn’t proud of his outfit. He posted a snap of the full look, poking fun at himself with the caption “Pre-tumble Look of the Night.”

Weir’s been known to step into high heels (when he’s not stepping into skates) in the past and has shown them off on Instagram, including these Rick Owens wedges and black platforms. We have a feeling this tumble won’t keep Weir off heels for too long. If you can win the Olympic gold in ice skates, you can definitely learn to master even an “aggressive” platform.

As one fan wrote, “Sacrifice for fashion, amirite?”
