From Delish

If the last time you were at Johnny Rockets was sometime in middle school when your parents finally let you go to the mall alone...same! It's been a minute, and TBH, I kind of forgot the deliciousness that is their milkshakes. This summer, though, the restaurant is upping its shake game with not one but two new drinks we're dying to try-plus, a whole slew of burgers, sandwiches, and sides. Here's everything we know about Johnny Rockets' summer menu.

The Sandwiches

The old-school restaurant added two new burgers and a new chicken sandwich to the summer menu, all three of which are barbecue-themed. The Honey BBQ Burger is stacked with beer-battered onion rings, lettuce, tomato, American cheese, bacon, and a smear of honey BBQ sauce. You can also get the Honey BBQ Chicken Sandwich, which is essentially the same thing but with grilled chicken instead of beef.

Then, there's the A1 Burger-an Angus beef patty with provolone, bacon, caramelized onions, grilled mushrooms, A.1. Steak Sauce, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise. Are you hungry yet?

The Sides

I don't know about you, but I loveee a good tot. They're the most underrated of sides-sorry, fries, onion rings, and sweet potato fries. This summer, you can order BBQ Bacon Cheese Tots at Johnny Rockets, and they look GOOD. Another sort-of side, sort-of-main-meal is the Honey BBQ Chicken Salad: greens topped with chicken tenders, tomatoes, avocado, corn, black beans, onions, cheese, croutons, and dill ranch dressing for all you pickle heads.

The Drinks

Now, the pièce de résistance: the milkshakes. It's basically a crime to go to Johnny Rockets and not order a milkshake and the limited-time additions are perfectly summer themed. First up: the Orange Dreamsicle Shake, a blend of vanilla ice cream, orange flavoring, and whipped cream. If you're less into fruity, more into chocolate-y, there's a S'mores Shake too. It's made with vanilla ice cream, chocolate and marshmallow syrups, graham cracker crumbles, whipped cream, and more chocolate syrup drizzled on top.

You can try all the new summer items from July 1 through September 1 at most Johnny Rockets restaurants.
