John Legend Surprises Superfan Who Missed His Show By Serenading Her on 'The Drew Barrymore Show'

It's safe to say John Legend made one fan's biggest dream come true after giving her the surprise of a lifetime.

A die-hard fan of the R&B superstar, Veleda Spellman, was featured as a guest during a recent episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, where she was enlisted to help the host try out some of the products from Legend's skincare line—or so she thought.

Drew Barrymore, 48, first talked to Spellman about her love for the Grammy-winner, where she admitted that she once had the opportunity to see Legend for free in concert, but she was out of town that same day.

Legend was more than willing to make it up to her, though. Barrymore then had Spellman lay down on a spa table, under the impression that she was just going to be getting a relaxing facial treatment using the entertainer's new line, Loved01.

As Barrymore tried out the products on Spellman's face and covered her eyes with cucumbers, the "All of Me" singer made a surprise appearance and quietly began applying the products to Spellman's face himself.

Barrymore then asked Spellman, who was still unaware of what was actually going on, to name what song she would have loved to hear Legend sing at the show she missed, and before she could even finish her sentence, the vocalist began gracing her with his angelic voice—and her reaction was priceless.

In a clip from the episode, Spellman appears to have immediately recognized the singer's voice, prompting her to rip the cucumber slices off her eyes and see for herself. Letting out a series of screams, she then jumped off the table to embrace him—and continue screaming, of course.

As her one request for Legend, Spellman asked him to sing a verse from her favorite song, "Tonight (Best You Ever Had)," to which he happily obliged.

As if the moment wasn't already special enough, Spellman was even sent home with complimentary beauty products from Legend's skincare line, leaving her with tangible proof of the meeting.

Also during the show, Legend serenaded someone else: Barrymore's bearded dragon Jeremy, which you can watch in an Instagram clip from the episode. Apparently, it was a great day for everyone!
