John Frieda's New Day 2 Revival Hair Products Go Way Beyond Dry Shampoo

Anyone who doesn't wash their every day can sing the praises of dry shampoo as a second-day savior for their style. From restoring yesterday's volume to absorbing the sweat and oiliness that built up overnight, it's practically mandatory for anyone who doesn't want to get their hair wet more than a couple times a week. But the Day 2 Revival collection from John Frieda, launching today, introduces a slew of other products that are bound to become new staples for anyone who wants their hair to look as good as — or better than — it did in the days after it was freshly styled.

The collection includes four products, all of which contain a nourishing açai and avocado dry oil blend. In fact, one of the stars of the collection is itself a dry oil: Day 2 Revival Smoothing Dry Oil. In addition to the açai and avocado, a touch of silicone helps smooth frizz, erasing dullness in dry hair without weighing it down. The brand says it's ideal for thick, moisture-starved hair — especially curl types 3B to 4C.

Smoothing Dry Oil isn't the only product in the collection with specific hair textures in mind; Day 2 Revival Curl Reset Spray is intended for those with naturally curly hair types between 3A to 4A. It's a hydrating spray formula that promises to redefine curls and minimize frizz while improving softness, all the while helping to hold hair's shape. For those with naturally 2A to 2C waves — and those whose waves were created with a little help from heat — there's Day 2 Revival Wavy Refresh Spray, which uses crystalized minerals to help shape hair into an effortlessly tousled look.

And of course, what would a collection called Day 2 Revival be without Dry Shampoo? The rice-based formula undoes the effects of excess oil so your hair looks and feels refreshed.

All four products, which have a light fruity-meets-floral scent, launch today on Amazon, and each one costs less than $10 — a small price to pay to make your style last as long as possible.
