John Cena has been a vocal proponent of the Make-A-Wish foundation since joining the WWE in 2002, and now, two decades later Cena's commitment to the organization has been honored as an official Guinness World Record. The Peacemaker star has taken part in 650 Make-A-Wish engagements, an average of nearly 33 a year, since first partnering with the organization. Cena's Guiness World Record is mostly an acknowledgment of a long-forgone conclusion: he's more than 400 "wishes" ahead of the next closest Make-A-Wish partner as no other individuals have more than 200.

Cena issued Make-A-Wish's 1,000th total wish back in 2012 and made it to 500 personal wishes fulfilled in 2015. "If [Make-A-Wish] ever [needs] me ... I don't care what I'm doing, I'll drop what I'm doing and be involved because I think that's the coolest thing," he once told Reuters.

Apart from his charitable obligations, the 16-time joint record WWE Champion has been active in both movies and TV recently. HBO renewed Peaecemaker for a second season in August, and Cena will reprise his role as Jakob Toretto in Fast X in the coming months as well. He's also set to appear in Henry Cavill and Dua Lipa in Argylle, and even went digital in recent months by leading the Looney Tunes-inspired Coyote vs. Acme while also making an appearance as a playable character in Fortnite.
