There was a lot happening in the world of fashion and celebrity this year. Whether it was the rise of new style queen bees like Caitlyn Jenner and Cookie Lyons or fashion stalwarts like Rihanna and Sarah Jessica Parker showing us how it’s done at the Met Gala, there was no shortage of head turning moments. But while there was plenty of drama on the red carpet, the runway was where most of the action was happening, from newly minted supermodels like Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid making waves on the catwalk to the sudden departures of Alex Wang, Raf Simons and Alber Elbaz at some of Europe’s most storied houses. Not too mention Ricardo Tisci’s beautiful and democratic tribute to New York and Rick Owens fashion show freak fest (human backpacks anyone?). And not to be outdone by 2014’s obsession with everything sheer and nude, our favorite stars continued to take it all off in 2015. Comedian Amy Schumer proudly posed in the nude for the Pirelli calendar while Justin Bieber was snapped in all his pint-sized glory during a private holiday in Bora Bora.
