Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner Wore Matching Black Nail Polish

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner have returned to their matching ways. After previously getting sets of like-minded tattoos, the couple shared in a matching moment that's not quite as permanent.

During an afternoon in New York City on Wednesday, August 15, the pair were both spotted wearing black nail polish. Although Sophie went with black polish on all of her nails, Joe only chose to do his thumbnails. The adventure in the city occurred on Joe's birthday, Just Jared Jr. pointed out, and one can plainly see from the photos that they were enjoying the day. In pictures of their time together, the pair were captured holding hands, their matching dark polish on full display.

Along with matching their manicures, Joe and Sophie also took the day of coordination to their accessories, carrying LAVAL crossbody bags. Their outfits weren't quite as on trend with the matching, as the Game of Thrones star selected an oversized sweatshirt and shorts, and the Jonas Brother chose to wear light denim jeans and a white shirt.

The pair, first engaged in October 2017, previously made matching news with joint tattoos of a woman that many believed was a nod to Sophie's Game of Thrones character. They followed that up with coordinating ink that paid tribute to their grandfathers.

There's no word on whether matching manicures might be part of their wedding day, but it could be awhile before the two actually walk down the aisle. During a June interview with The Evening Standard, Joe revealed that the pair were just enjoying their time together. "We’ve been trying to take some time off while running around Europe," Joe said. "It’s been really exciting to play shows here in the summer, when people are out and about and the energy is top-notch. So right now, as far as down-time for us, we’re just being tourists.”
