Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner Have Been Turned Into Action Figures

From Men's Health

Now that the confetti has long since been cleaned away after Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner's second wedding ceremony in France, the artist behind one of their wedding gifts has just shared a sneak peek at his creation on social media: a pair of action figures based on the couple's likeness, named G.I. Jophie.

"Alright. It’s been a month since the wedding so I think/hope I’m ok to share this," wrote Dano Brown on Instagram. "I was hired by Frankie Jonas to make this wedding gift for Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner. Obviously a huge deal for me. I was hoping they’d share a pic but I imagine they have at least 1000 other gifts to go through and probably at least half of those are way cooler so I’m giving in and sharing it anyway."

Brown chose a specific paparazzi shot of Jonas and Turner as the inspiration for the dolls' costumes; a pair of puffer jackets along with a black baseball cap for Jonas. Brown said that he was given free reign by Frankie Jonas (Joe's younger brother) with regards to how the figures looked, and that he was incredibly pleased with the final result.

"Frankie was super good to me and gave me total creative freedom aside from the title, which he thought up, which is probably the best part of the whole thing," he said. "Very honored to get this gig! I lined up another huge one I’m excited to share with y’all but first i have to actually make it."

Sophie Turner might have already been given the Funko Pop treatment during her time playing Sansa Stark on HBO's Game of Thrones, but it's unlikely that these one-of-a-kind figures are going to end up on eBay any time soon.
