Joe Jonas & Sophie Turner’s Tonal Dressing Looks on Date Night Is a Couple Goal Moment We Can’t Get Over

A couple that slays together, stays together.

This is certainly true for Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner as the duo stepped out for a date night in Los Angeles on Saturday, wearing looks that provided a styling lesson on tonal dressing.

Turner, who recently welcomed her and husband Jonas’ first child together, opted for a crisscross wrap top that came in a fiery red and orange striped pattern design. She continued the vibrant ensemble with a pair of lounge pants that featured an abstract design that incorporated similar colors as the top as well as a salmon shade. Adding a grunge effect, Turner layered with a black leather shoulder that she wore across her arms.

As for footwear, Turner decided on trending thong sandal heels. The shoes featured a rounded toe and were coral in hue. The combination of shades that remain in the same family is the key to tonal dressing. Because all of her pieces featured somewhat of an orange shade, Turner was able to also mix and match patterns without making her outfit look busy.

Jonas on the other hand went the solid route, wearing a brown button up and coordinating loose-fitting pants. The two-piece appeared to be of a canvas or khaki construction. On his feet, the singer paired the look with caramel-colored low top sneakers. The shoes featured off-white laces and a thick white outsole.

Tonal dressing is having a major moment right now. The style hack is an easy way to make your ensembles feel more complete and purposeful. In addition to Turner and Jonas, stars like Kylie Jenner, Hailey Baldwin, Kate Middleton and more have tried out the trend.
