Not to make you tear up this early in the morning, but Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner just got matching tattoos to commemorate their dog Waldo Picasso, and it's honestly the sweetest thing. The couple's Alaskan Klee Kai puppy was a relatively new addition to their family (they got him in April 2018), and was recently hit by a car in what Joe's rep is calling a "freak accident."

According to TMZ, Waldo Picasso was with Sophie and Joe's dog walker in New York City when, "the dog got spooked by a pedestrian, broke free, ran into the street and was struck by a vehicle."

Joe and Sophie have understandably been having a super hard time processing Waldo's death, and got tattoos as a way of remembering him. Joe shared his Waldo ink on Instagram, writing "R.I.P. my little angel:"

Aside from getting the matching tattoos, Sophie and Joe have been processing their grief with therapy. TMZ even reported that "they delayed filing the report because they were so torn up they had to go to a therapist after the incident."

Losing a pet is so damn hard, so feel free to go be extra nice to your dog/cat/hamster/parrot.
