Joe Jonas Correctly Predicted That My Chemical Romance Was Reuniting

He was right all along!

As it turns out, Joe Jonas might be the last person you should trust a surprise announcement with. Sure, he can definitely blame Diplo for majorly spilling the beans on his nuptials to Sophie Turner, but nearly spoiling news of the My Chemical Romance rests solely on the shoulders of the JoBro.

On Thursday, My Chemical Romance announced they were reuniting, Pitchfork reported. While fans of the band are obviously excited for the reunion show, followers of Joe may recall that he had kind of accidentally announced that this was coming. Back in June, the singer appeared on a UK radio show, and while there he had some interesting news. “My Chemical Romance apparently were rehearsing next to us in New York recently, which I thought they broke up, so I don’t know,” he said.

Only weeks later, Frank Iero of MCR disputed the rumors, saying, "I don’t understand why you would do an interview about your band and talk about someone else’s band. I think they’re trying to rebrand their band as a real rock band and they’re trying to mention as many rock bands and trying to get, like, synonymous with other things."

Flash forward to yesterday's news of a MCR reunion, and welp, Joe was right after all. Naturally, many have come forward to share their shock, tweeting, "I can’t believe joe jonas wasn’t lying when he said he heard my chemical romance rehearsing next to the jonas brothers" and "I cannot believe joe jonas spilled tea on my chemical romance’s reunion a few months ago saying they were rehearsing next to the jonas brothers and i completely IGNORED it bc i thought joe was joking......... well! jokes on ME!"

I think we've all learned one very valuable lesson — never doubt a Jonas Brother.
