Joe Jonas Asked Jonas Brothers Fans for "Deep Cut" Songs to Play on "Happiness Begins" Tour

“Play your whole discography and I’ll be satisfied."

When musicians go on tour, they usually fill their set lists with new songs off the album they’re promoting and old favorites from the past — the singles, the radio hits, the standout songs from their back catalog. A concert can only run so long, which means they can’t play every single song they’ve ever recorded. But if you’re a longtime fan of a certain band or artist, you’ve probably got a handful of “deep cuts” that you can’t get enough of and would love to hear played at a show.

The Jonas Brothers totally understand where you’re coming from. The brothers are about to embark on their Happiness Begins tour, which kicks off in Florida on August 7, and they’re busy preparing their setlist — and want their biggest fans to weigh in on what songs make the cut. Joe Jonas took to Twitter to ask, “Which Jonas deep cut song do you wanna hear on tour?” and fans responded eagerly with their old school favorites. Just reading their responses has me feeling nostalgic!

“Inseparable,” off their 2007 self-titled album, and “Black Keys,” off 2009’s Lines, Vines and Trying Times were clear winners among Jonas enthusiasts. “If you don’t play Inseparable and Hollywood and Can’t Have You I’ll probs lie on the floor of the arena and refuse to leave,” tweeted a fan. “Turn Right, Inseparable, Just Friends, Hello Beautiful, Shelf, Black Keys, Fly with Me, Love is on its way, Critical and Much Better These have to be played idc,” was one helpful idea. “Listen Joseph... if that’s even your real name. We suffered for 1,947 days. I’ll give you a LIST of deep cuts,” tweeted a very excited fan.

Nick Jonas himself also had an addition to the setlist: the extreme throwback hit "Underdog," from their debut 2006 record It's About Time.

Some fans, meanwhile, had a few ideas for songs they didn’t want to hear. “Honestly anything BUT Camp Rock songs,” they tweeted. Ouch! Others had even grander plans for the setlist. “Play your whole discography and I’ll be satisfied,” was one reply. Of course, while playing every single song off every album, including the Camp Rock tunes, would make for an epic tour setlist, we’re pretty sure it’s not gonna happen — but we can’t wait to see which oldies-but-goodies the JoBros decide to whip out at their first shows.
