Joe Biden's Granddaughters Wear Chic Winter Coats to the Inauguration

President Joe Biden was surrounded by his family at today's inauguration, and his four granddaughters Naomi, Finnegan, Maisy, and Natalie Biden dressed impeccably for the occasion. Each chose a sharp winter coat and matching mask for a monochrome look: Naomi, 27, wore white; her sister Finnegan, 22, wore a camel coat and mask; their youngest sister Maisy, 20, wore black; and their cousin Natalie, 16, went bright in a pink coat and mask. Natalie's brother Robert "Hunter" Biden II appeared in a suit alongside his sister and his cousins.

Naomi, Joe's oldest grandchild, dressed symbolically in the color most associated with suffragettes. She graduated from Columbia Law School in May 2020. In photos from the inauguration, she appears behind Natalie.

Finnegan appeared alongside her cousin Natalie in other shots. Finnegan is a junior at the University of Pennsylvania.

And Maisy, when walking in, led the pack behind her father, Hunter.

Maisy, Finnegan, Naomi, and Natalie gave an interview that aired today to former First Daughter Jenna Bush Hager on the Today show. They discussed their experience watching Sasha and Malia Obama navigate being First Daughters in the White House while their granddad served as President Barack Obama's vice president.

"Maisy and I and Natalie and Naomi have had the privilege of being able to see two of our friends navigate eight years of what was really difficult, and they did so, so beautifully," Finnegan said of Sasha and Malia. "And they came out so grounded and humble, and they're so smart and driven, so I think we can only take advice from them."

Maisy added that their grandfather Joe Biden calls them all often. "That's something that I feel like some people don't believe when we say that he literally calls, not just, like, one of us every few days," Maisy said. "He calls me, then calls Naomi, then he calls Finn, then he calls Natalie, then he calls Ashley, and then he calls little Hunter."
