Jodie Turner-Smith and Joshua Jackson went all out in their first joint Met Gala showing.

The married couple channeled gilded opulence in two contrasting though complementary Gucci ensembles. The Anne Boleyn actress dazzled in a crystal chain bra paired with a pink pleated chiffon skirt over a fringed miniskirt. Meanwhile, Husband Jackson wore a custom black Gucci coat with tails, over a white evening shirt and pinstripe pants.

Per the actress and Gucci ambassador, Turner-Smith's sparkly, peachy-golden look was intended to showcase—and succeeded to deliver—the "over-the-top and fantastical" energy of the Gilded Age. She jokingly added that she and Jackson also considered gender-swapping their outfits for the occasion. "I was going to wear the tuxedo with tails, and he was going to wear a gown," the actress said.

"I’m not sure I could have pulled off your exact look," replied Jackson. "I’ve got the legs for it, I’d like to say."

"You have the legs!" Turner-Smith quipped back. "He’s got great legs."

The pair have been happily married since 2019. In a July 2021 interview, Jackson opened up about his happy family life with the actress. "There is nothing that is not better off than being married to her and having that baby. It's everything," Jackson said to Entertainment Tonight. "I wanted to say congratulations to her. [Jodie] is in Cannes right now for the first time with her movie ... I wish I could be with you there, love."
