Brace yourselves, Sweet Magnolias fans, because season two is hitting Netflix on February 4. In honor of the highly anticipated premiere, we compiled a list of questions that fans will likely ask after watching Sweet Magnolias. For example, will the show return for a third installment?

Keep scrolling for details about Sweet Magnolias season three.

1. Will 'Sweet Magnolias' return for season 3?

Unfortunately, Netflix hasn’t officially renewed Sweet Magnolias for season three. But if the second installment is as popular as the first, then we wouldn’t be surprised if there’s an announcement in the near future.

Last year, PureWow sat down for a chat with JoAnna García Swisher, who was promoting her partnership with Hill’s Pet Nutrition. While discussing her most recent projects, the actress joked about the possibility of Sweet Magnolias returning for season three.

“Alongside all of the things that we were met with in season one, there’s just a whole new slew of interesting [storylines] that come with season three,” she said. “Or season two—look at me, I’m manifesting a season three already!”

She continued, “We end season two again with a lot of drama.”

2. What is 'Sweet Magnolias' about?

Sweet Magnolias (which is based on the best-selling book series by Sherryl Woods) tells the story of three childhood best friends—Maddie, Helen and Dana Sue—who never left their hometown of Serenity, South Carolina.

Season one ended on a cliffhanger, with (spoiler alert!) Maddie’s son, Kyle, getting into a serious car accident with an unknown passenger. Swisher told PureWow, “I didn’t want to know who was in the car until the last possible minute, because I just hate to hold things over people’s heads. But obviously I know who's in the car. Even though my husband doesn’t.”

3. Who's in 'Sweet Magnolias'?

The series stars Joanna Garcia Swisher (Maddie), Heather Headley (Helen), Brooke Elliott (Dana Sue), Jamie Lynn Spears (Noreen), Chris Klein (Bill), Justin Bruening (Cal), Carson Rowland (Tyler) Logan Allen (Kyle), Anneliese Judge (Annie), Brandon Quinn (Ronnie) and Dion Johnstone (Erik).

4. Is there a trailer?

Not yet. However, when Netflix releases a sneak peek, we’ll be the first to know.
