Joanna Gaines Shares Stunning New Photos With Chip As They Celebrate Their Anniversary

Our favorite HGTV stars have just hit a huge milestone: Chip and Joanna Gaines celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary on May 31.

In honor of the big day, Joanna shared on Instagram that the couple spent time in Mexico. The Fixer Upper star posted a video with photos and clips from their vacation, which included time at the pool (Joanna's bathing suit is so cute!), going out to eat, and exploring the area. "18 years. Thankful to be on this adventure with you — happy anniversary @chipgaines ❤️," Joanna captioned her post.

Fans flooded her Instagram with comments, sending their wishes and praise for Chip and Jo. "Cutest couple and most genuine," one person wrote. "Happy anniversary to two simply amazing people," said another. "Love you guys!! Congratulations," one sweet comment read.

Chip and Joanna got married on May 31, 2003 at Earle Harrison House & Pape Gardens in Waco, Texas. Less than a year later, they welcomed their son Drake. Today, they have five children: Drake, Ella Rose, Duke, Emmie Kay, and Crew, who was born in 2018.

When speaking to Oprah recently on the impact Joanna has had on his life, Chip was quick to note he wouldn't be the person he is today without her. "I was always that kind of energy. It wasn't pleasant; it wasn't cute," Chip said. "It was like anxiety-inducing, you know?"

"And Jo has just kind of grounded me in this place to where it's almost like, when I die or I'm on my deathbed, what I'll say, looking back, is, 'I owe you my life because you settled me down.'"
