Joanna Gaines' Daughter Emmie Adorably Narrates New Book "The World Needs Who You Were Made To Be"
This week, Gaines’ newest children’s book The World Needs Who You Were Made to Be hit shelves. Inspired by her experience growing up Korean-American (where she was bullied by other kids), this book is all about celebrating who you are.
Gaines took to Instagram to promote the book and revealed that a very special someone recorded the audio version of the book. "When I asked the kids if any of them wanted to read the book for the audio version, Emmie Kay was the first to raise her hand," the mom-of-five wrote alongside an adorable snap of her and Emmie in the studio.
As a refresher, The World Needs Who You Were Made to Be follows a group of children as they build their own hot-air balloons. Throughout the pages, they learn to work together using their unique skills — and why celebrating difference is a good thing. The end result: they fill the sky with beautiful colors.
