Jennifer Lopez has been out on the town lately promoting her new Netflix documentary Halftime, much to the fashion team's delight. And yesterday, at a Tribeca Festival after party, she walked out in a look that felt...strangely familiar.

The singer and actress donned all white tailoring, and it took us right back to her famous outfit from the 2002 film Maid in Manhattan. In the quintessential 00s chick flick, JLo's character "borrows" an expensive white designer outfit to wear out, and comically gets a magazine stuck to her bum when she sits on a park bench.

It's an outfit formula that has well and truly stood the test of time: tonal dressing. Sounds fancy, but basically, you just wear one single colour head to toe. V manageable. It's a foolproof wardrobe hack that will make anyone look more "expensive" and put together if you're stuck for what to wear. Kate Middleton is a fan - earlier this year, she was seen out in chic brown tonal knitwear, looking very regal if we do say so ourselves. Meghan Markle has also employed the trick before, pairing a brown rollneck with a brown silk midi skirt and camel coat. 10/10.

Here's the present-day look that gave us a throwback:

Ahh, memories. It's hard to believe that the film is already 20 years old (eep!), but with her famous glow, sharp 'fit, and slicked back baby hairs, JLo doesn't look a day past 2002, does she?
