There's no bad blood between the actress and talk show host!

Jimmy Kimmel apologized to Quinta Brunson after viewers slammed him for stealing her Emmy award-winning moment on Monday evening.

During Brunson's appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!the host took some time during the interview to apologize for the stunt he pulled during her acceptance speech at the 74th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards

Kimmel showed a clip of the moment Brunson accepted her award during the interview and explained what happened that night saying it was a "dumb comedy bit."

"People said I stole your moment, and maybe I did, and I'm very sorry if I did do that. I'm sorry I did do that, actually," he said. "And also the last thing I would ever want to do is upset you because I think so much of you. I think you know that. I hope you know that," he continued.

Brunson replied, "Well, Jimmy, let me just say, thank you. It is very kind of you to say that." And while she appreciated the apology, she explained that she was too wrapped up in the moment at the time to process what was happening. "I honestly was in such a moment of just having a good time. Like, I won my first Emmy. I was up there happy and I was wrapped up in the moment and just having a good time," she said.

Brunson even ended up getting her revenge on the talk show host as she jokingly interrupted the end of his monologue.

The Abbott Elementary star strutted out on stage with her Emmy as she greeted Kimmel mid sentence.

"You know, you're a little bit early for your interview. It's after the commercial," the host said.

Brunson replied, "I know, but I have a little favor to ask, actually. So you know how you win an Emmy, you only have 45 seconds to do an acceptance speech, which is not that much time? And then you get less time because someone does a dumb comedy bit that goes on a bit too long?"

The actress then went on to ask if she could have a few moments to thank the rest of the people she left out in her acceptance speech for Outstanding Writing in a Comedy Series.

Kimmel then let Brunson take the floor as she listed off a handful of names before introducing the guests set to appear on the show later that evening.

It's nice to see these two work through it!
