Jimmy Kimmel has been on late-night television for as long as we can remember (okay fine, only 20 years, but still!), so there are probs a number of reasons the comedian is still going strong on TV. And though being pranked by Rihanna and getting former President Barack Obama to read his own edition of “Mean Tweets” are certainly up there, one can also imagine that Jimmy's huge (no, seriously, it's massive lol) paycheck is also a pretty big reason he has stayed in the game so long. But interestingly enough, there are tons of other ways Jimmy is raking in all that $$$$, TV show aside. And because I know you're a fellow snoop, let's dig into the deets of Jimmy Kimmel's impressive net worth, shall we?

First thing's first: Jimmy is an epic host

Just a few of the awards ceremonies he's got under his belt? The 2007 ESPY Awards with *the* Lebron James, the 2017 and 2018 Oscars, the 2012 and 2019 Emmys, and the American Music Awards for a total of five (!!) years in 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007, and 2008. Oh, and because no one can get enough of him, he also happens to be this year's Oscars host on March 10, 2024.

Outside of the more ~traditional~ awards ceremonies, though, Kimmel has also dabbled in guest-hosting actual shows such as Larry King Live and Live With Regis and Kelly. The latter was a stint back in October 2007, when Jimmy was asked to guest host Live With Regis and Kelly for a week while simultaneously helming his own show, Jimmy Kimmel Live! (Busy guy!) During that time, the celeb wound up being featured on both shows from Monday to Friday and traveling between New York and Los Angeles to shoot. Once news of his wild week-long commute broke, the Guinness World Records actually sent him a certificate stating he broke the record for the longest distance traveled in one working week at 22,406 miles. The more you know!

And he's been a producer for decades

One of the first production companies Jimmy ever founded is called Jackhole Industries, which he began alongside his longtime friends Adam Carolla and Daniel Kellison. The three initially found themselves working with Comedy Central in 1999 to produce and star in The Man Show, which was hugely successful off the bat. According to TheThings, the show was so popular that it ranked “as the network’s second most popular show after South Park...It went on for 117 episodes and ended in 2004.”

Jimmy went on to create plenty of other projects after this hit. Case in point? The MTV2 series The Andy Milonakis Show and Comedy Central’s Crank Yankers, which ran from 2002-2007 and was revived in 2019 under yet another one of the comedian's production companies, Kimmelot Production Company. Per Deadline, Jimmy launched the business as a joint venture with Brent Montgomery’s Wheelhouse Entertainment in 2018.

At the time, Jimmy mused, “Brent’s vision for Wheelhouse Entertainment is simple and brilliant and I knew immediately that I wanted to be part of it...Brent and I have a nice balance of monkey and business. Kimmelot will be a place where ideas are made real, from concept to completion.”

His IMDb page is stacked

The late-night talk show host has done voice work for *tons* of films, such as The Boss Baby and The Boss Baby 2, Paw Patrol: The Movie, Pitch Perfect 2,Teen Titans Go! To The Movies, Garfield, Project X, and The Smurfs 2.

TL;DR: Jimmy Kimmel's voice 🤝🏻 casting directors.

Jimmy Kimmel Live! pays a pretty penny

In 2003, Jimmy Kimmel Live! made its official TV debut, and since then the comedian has been working his way to the top of late-night television...all the while cashing in on his truly jaw-dropping salary. Just how much $$$ does Jimmy make from this gig, you ask? According to Celebrity Net Worth, that would be a whopping $15 million a year. Anyway! This is what I imagine real-life footage between the celeb and his bank account would look like:

In June 2022, Kimmel hopped on Variety’s Awards Circuit and openly discussed the future of his show: “I wish I knew what I was gonna do. I have moments where I go, 'I cannot do this anymore.' And I have moments where I go, 'What am I gonna do with my life if I'm not doing this anymore?' It's a very complicated thing,” he confessed. “And there are practical considerations, and there are family and friend considerations and co-worker considerations. And eventually, I am going to have to stop doing this. I'm not going to do this forever. I would not be honest at all if I said that I have decided one way or the other. I'm thinking about it a lot, though.” *cue le dramatic music 👀*

Luckily, we won't have to see Kimmel leaving our television screens anytime soon, because on September 20, 2022, ABC announced that the comedian had signed a three-year extension to continue as host and executive producer of the show. Oh, and on January 26, 2023, he became the longest-serving late-night talk show host at that time. The more you know!

He also wrote a children's book

Yep, you read that right! Back in 2019, Jimmy released a children’s book he wrote and illustrated titled The Serious Goose, and its proceeds were donated to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles along with other children’s hospitals around the country. If you'd like see *the* cutest rendition of the project, here's the comedian reading it out loud:

He's kind of a real estate wiz

...As in, he owns a number of homes in the L.A. area that have contributed to his wealth. Per Celebrity Net Worth, in 2004 he paid $2.175 million for a home in Hermosa Beach, California. Ten years later, he bought a second home in Hermosa for $2.25 million. Then in 2018, he “dropped $8.2 million on yet another home.” Jimmy also owns a $7.1 million, two-parcel home in the Hollywood Hills above the iconic Chateau Marmont, which I am currently working on manifesting for myself ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. A girl can dream!

So what is Jimmy Kimmel's net worth?

Oh, just $50 million buckaroonies, according to Celebrity Net Worth. Excuse me while I go brush up on my jokes, lol.
