And it's got its own matching merch.

The phenomenon of branded merchandise—"merch," as we call it for short—doesn't seem to be slowing down. Aldi shoppers are clearing out the store's merch at lightning speed—so much so that last week, the store brought back its branded items for a third time. Olive Garden's viral cheese grater doesn't even say Olive Garden on it, but when Parmesan cheese lovers found out you could buy it from the restaurant, they went crazy. And let's not forget about McDonald's-themed Crocs that fans paid over $70 to snag.

Jimmy John's is no stranger to the merch game. Last year, it released merch with a distinctive '90s vibe, and as of today, the chain is taking its merchandise in a distinctively designer direction.

Jimmy John’s Returning Caprese Salami Pesto...and Matching Merch

Jimmy John's is bringing back the fan-favorite Caprese Salami Pesto sandwich, along with a new version. Previously, the sandwich was sold only on long French bread, but this time around, there’s a second option. The tomatoes, mozzarella, salami, basil pesto, and balsamic glaze—a variation of the classic Caprese ingredients—can also be rolled into a tortilla, creating a sandwich wrap.

To coincide with the return of the Caprese Salami Pesto, the sandwich chain is dropping a Ciao Down Silk Scarf (see what they did there?), calling it a “chic and stylish wrap for your…wrap."

Hoping the scarf will be spring’s hottest new accessory, Jimmy John's designed it featuring the ingredients of the wrap sandwich. According to Jimmy John’s, the silk scarf was inspired by scarves seen on fashion runways in Milan, the streets of Rome, and the beaches of the Amalfi Coast.

The unexpected merch comes with instructions on how to transform it into a clutch, a shoulder bag, or even a tote bag—all ways to carry a Jimmy John’s Caprese Salami Pesto wrap and maybe one of Jimmy John’s red velvet brownies or cookies, too. Of course, it can also simply be a scarf worn around your neck, as a headband, or as a belt.

The Ciao Down Silk Scarves will be available only online for $75 starting today until supplies run out. That’s a bit pricy for something that can double as your lunch bag, but considering how quickly branded merch from restaurants and other stores has been selling, if you’re interested in nabbing this meaty and cheesy silk scarf, you might want to act fast.
