If there’s one thing we know, it’s that people love their condiments. While, yes, ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise have always been toppings we’ve grabbed for our hamburgers, hot dogs, and sandwiches, we’re not really talking about those ones. Instead, we’re referring to the beloved condiments from your favorite fast food restaurant.

Chick-fil-A fans rejoiced when the restaurant started selling its signature Chick-fil-A sauce in grocery stores. Big Mac Sauce lovers finally got what they’ve been asking for for years when McDonald’s added the sauce as a side option. And, Jersey Mike’s enthusiasts love the cherry pepper relish so much that the condiment went viral on TikTok.

Sure, not every fast food joint has a signature sauce, but those that do are guaranteed to have loyalists. And, if there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s that fans don’t take well to their favorites being discontinued. With that said, we have some bad news for Jimmy John’s fans—and, more specifically, Jimmy John’s house-made Kickin’ Ranch fans.

Jimmy John's Discontinuing Kickin' Ranch

After six years on the menu, Jimmy John’s Kickin’ Ranch is soon to be no more. Kickin’ Ranch joined the menu in 2018 as a condiment for Jimmy John’s subs and a side for dipping. It has since become a “cult favorite,” according to the brand.

However, all good things must come to an end as Jimmy John’s has decided to take Kickin’ Ranch off the menu this month. The bright side? You still have time to get your last taste of the beloved spicy ranch sauce before it’s too late.

Before Kickin’ Ranch is gone for good, Jimmy John’s is allowing customers to buy bottles of the fan-favorite sauce for the first time.

How to Buy Jimmy John's Kickin' Ranch

Jimmy John’s will begin selling “Big Ass Bottles” of Jimmy John’s Kickin’ Ranch on Jan. 9—but there’s a catch. There will only be 100 commemorative bottles available, and they’re only on sale for 24 hours. So, yes, you’re going to have to beat out some other Kickin’ Ranch lovers for a bottle.

Jimmy John’s “Big Ass Bottle of Kickin’ Ranch” will go live on its site on Jan. 9, where you can purchase it for $.01 plus shipping. If you can’t get a bottle in time, you can still head to Jimmy John’s to buy the side cup (or enough side cups to fill up your own bottle) for $.99 a piece before Jan. 22.

Spicy fans, no need to worry too much because even though the Kickin’ Ranch is exiting, Jimmy John’s isn’t leaving you without a hot condiment. Starting Jan. 22, Jimmy John’s Jalapeño Ranch will be available as a side for the first time ever.

New year, new sauce—we just hope we love it as much as Kickin’ Ranch.
