Funny man Jim Gaffigan has been nominated for a Grammy Award for best comedy album for three years in a row. And as well known as he is for his comedy, he is becoming equally well known for being a foodie.

When he hit the red carpet, E! host Giuliana Rancic couldn't help but ask the author of Food: A Love Story what food destinations he was looking forward to visiting on his upcoming world comedy tour, and his answers were oh so relatable.

"Oh, my gosh. You know, I'm going to Spain, and they're obsessed with the jamón in Spain," Jim told Giuliana. "And so you have to the jamón. Even though ham is pretty much everywhere, it's a little different in Spain."

Jim is right: It's so different. I never eat ham, but I still have dreams about the Jamón Serrano I ate every day for a week on my first trip to Madrid last year. If I'm being honest, it's a big reason why I've already booked a trip back to Spain for my birthday.

As much as I love Spain, Jim stole my Mexican American heart even more when he began to gush about his upcoming visit to the motherland.

"I'm also excited to go to Mexico," he told Giuliana. "I'm going to — I feel like I'm going to gain 80 pound when I tour Mexico. So I'll be there for a week. That's at least 80 pounds"

My abuela highly recommends El Cardenal, Jim! If you call me up, I'll make you a more comprehensive list, because I want to make sure you have an unforgettable gastronomical experience. And, like you, I also have no self control when it comes to Mexican food. I know guac is extra, but I can't stop. Won't stop.

Jim ended up losing the Grammy to Dave Chappelle, but he won the award for most relatable in my heart.
