First lady Dr. Jill Biden surprised 2024 Teacher of the Year, Missy Testerman, live on “CBS Mornings” with Gayle King, Tony Dokoupil, and Nate Burleson on Monday. For the special occasion, Biden opted for a pair of Valentino patent leather slingback shoes.

Biden has worn the style many times before, including at the International Medal of Arts honoree ceremony in September 2023.

During “CBS Mornings,” Gayle King asked Dr. Jill Biden, “How many times did you change your outfit today?” Biden responded, “I just chose a typical outfit,” which was consistent with her previous ensembles, including the Christian Dior pumps she wore for a welcome ceremony for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in June 2023.
