Jessy Schram, who got her start in television commercials, has put in the work to achieve leading lady status in her career. From a debut role in Nickelodeon's Drake and Josh to making a splash on the Hallmark Channel in some of our favorite romances and dramas, there are no limits to what Jessy Schram can do.

Early Jessy Schram roles

After her television debut in 2004, Schram could be seen in various films and popular television series throughout the 2000s. Prior to leading lady roles on Hallmark, she actually had roles in the Jane Doe series of films on the network.

Later, she could be seen in a few episodes of the hit teen drama series Veronica Mars, as well as in shows like Boston Legal, House, Ghost Whisperer, Medium, Without a Trace and CSI: Miami.

Her more prominent roles came in series like Life, Last Resort, Falling Skies, Nashville and Chicago Med, which she still is acting in today. She re-entered the Hallmark scene in 2012 in the film A Smile as Big as the Moon, and since then, her roles on the network have continued.

10. Amazing Winter Romance (2019)

Julia (Jessy Schram), who once had a knack for writing uplifting and inspirational stories, has lost her spirit. To remedy this, she's sent back to her hometown to pursue a story about small towns and their charm.

While home, she's reunited with childhood friend Nate (Marshall Williams), who has built an enormous snow maze that's the talk of the town, and being back in his presence has her questioning whether or not she wants to return to her life in the big city.

9. Harvest Moon (2015)

Jen is a girl from the city with expensive taste whose family has just gone bankrupt. Her last remaining asset is a pumpkin farm that her father had bought as an investment. While she intends to sell it for profit to continue to fund her lavish lifestyle, the farm's manager, Brett (Jesse Hutch), has a differing point of view.

As the two spend more time together, Jen might just gain a new perspective as they work together to overcome the obstacles they're both facing — and they just might fall for each other in the process.

8. Mystic Christmas (2023)

Juniper (Schram) is a marine veterinerian who finds herself in Mystic, Connecticut during the holiday season, taking on a temporary position to rehabilitate a seal named Peppermint so he can be released back into the wild.

While she has no intentions of staying in the same place for long, while there, she connects with an old flame, as well as the interns working under her, pulling her deeper and deeper into the town she claims to have no desire to stay in long term.

7. Time for Them to Come Home for Christmas (2021)

Jessy Schram stars as a woman who has been in an accident and is now suffering from amnesia. The only lead she has is a newspaper clipping from a Christmas festival in Charleston with a note reading "Please come - Mark."

She embarks on a cross-country road trip with her nurse (Brendan Penny), who is traveling to North Carolina to see family, in the hopes that this adventure will reveal her identity and give her the answers she's looking for.

6. The Birthday Wish (2017)

Gwen directs TV commercials and is paired with fellow director Dave (Luke Macfarlane) to collaborate. Gwen, who meticulously plans all aspects of her life, hopes for her boyfriend to propose by the time she turns thirty.

When this doesn't end up being her reality, she makes a birthday wish to see what her life will look like in 10 years — and when it comes true, she sees herself as a mother of three — married to none other than Dave.

5. A Smile as Big as the Moon (2012)

A Smile as Big as the Moon stars John Corbett and tells the story of a special education teacher who goes to great lengths to advocate for his students to be able to participate in Space Camp, a program at the US Space and Rocket Center.

4. Road to Christmas (2018)

Maggie (Jessy Schram) is a television producer who begins falling for Danny Wise (Chad Michael Murray), the previous producer of his mother's Christmas special for her show, Julia Wise Lifestyle.

The two travel across the country documenting fun Christmas traditions ahead of the special, but Julia has a plan to reunite Julie with her three sons on the air during the live taping. When her plan doesn't go over so well, Maggie comes to see what's truly important during Christmas.

3. Royal New Year's Eve (2017)

Caitlyn (Jessy Schram) is a magazine assistant and aspiring fashion designer who gets tasked with designing a dress for Prince Jeffrey's (Sam Page) fiancé, Lady Isabelle, as the duo are in town.

As Caitlyn works past her boss attempting to sabotage her while also helping Prince Jeffrey plan the ball, the two grow closer, and their feelings only blossom. Will he choose duty and tradition or follow his heart?

2. Country at Heart (2020)

Shayna (Jessy Schram) is a struggling Nashville musician who is ready to pack up and head home when she meets Grady (Niall Matter), who enlists her help to write a song for country star Duke Sterling (Lucas Bryant).

Their collaboration is positive and their feelings grow as they spend more time together. However, when Shayna meets Duke, he asks her to be his opening act, which leaves her with a difficult decision.

1. A Nashville Christmas Carol (2020)

Jessy Schram plays a television producer who is in charge of running a country music themed Christmas special. With the arrival of her childhood sweetheart (Wes Brown) in the picture again and a career shift on the horizon, this workaholic gets visited by Christmas spirits who force her to revisit the past and get back on track in her life.
