Don't think that love at first sight is real? Try telling that to Jessie James Decker!

In a move that literally no one saw coming (especially her husband), the "I Still Love You" singer officially introduced the newest member of the Decker family to fans on Instagram. Jessie stopped by the Country Now office in Nashville for a special "Pupdate" interview where she answered questions about her upcoming projects all while being smothered by the sweetest puppy kisses and wagging tails.

Before the interview even began Jessie admitted, "Okay, you guys—I'm really considering adopting one of these puppies," and it didn't take long for the Dancing With the Stars alum to fall in love with one in particular.

She chronicled the entire process of convincing Eric to go along with her decision on Instagram with a post captioned, "Swipe to see how I convinced @ericdecker to let us adopt a puppy on Valentine’s Day ❤️😂😅 'Hart Olivia Decker'."

Jessie shared a snapshot of her and Eric's texts before they fell victim to those irresistible puppy eyes. "Come now eric. I'm serious," she wrote. Eric's famous last words were, "I'm not gonna get attached to a dog."

Just like the Deckers, fans immediately fell in love with the rescue pup and wrote:

  • "There’s nothing I love more than when a man bonds with 'the dog he didn’t want' 😂"

  • "So freaking cuuuuute"

  • "As soon as that sweet puppy put her head on his shoulder, it was sealed 😂💕"

  • "Thank you for adopting! ♥️ luckiest pup in the world"

With the help of her three kids, Vivianne, 8, Eric II, 7, and Forrest, 4, the family named the new pup Hart, and it is now their third dog in addition to their two golden retrievers, Jake and Jenny. After the interview, Jessie told Country Now, "Hart completed the heart of our family! I feel like she chose us. We weren't expecting to come home with a puppy that day, but it felt so right."
