Jessie James Decker Gets Emotional as She Calls Her Fourth Pregnancy 'Extremely Shocking'

Jessie James Decker is opening up about her latest pregnancy, divulging that she and husband Eric Decker were "very, very, very surprised" to find out she was with child again.
The country pop singer opened up her Instagram Stories to fans with a Q&A on Sunday, August 27, confirming that "it was not planned" when someone wondered if the babe was purposely conceived.
“As you know, I had been telling Eric it was probably time to get a vasectomy because I felt like we were done,” she revealed. “But I just feel like God always has other plans. It was extremely shocking and surprising, but [we are] happy excited.”
The expecting mom-of-three had been publicly sharing her hopes for the retired NFL player's vasectomy since 2021, when she claimed the athlete had scheduled an appointment.
However, in January, the former reality star admitted to Us Weekly that Eric "refuses" to have the medical procedure done. "I keep asking him, ‘Go make that appointment’ and he won’t. He just won’t do it," she said at the time. “He says it takes, like, his manhood away from him. So he’s just gonna leave it, I guess.”
While the "I Still Love You" songstress did feel like the couple, who has been married since 2013, was "done" expanding their family after welcoming their three children—Vivianne, 9, Eric Jr., 8, and Forrest, 5—she made it clear how "grateful" they are about the new addition to-come.

“Being able to have another little baby is, like, the most incredible blessing. We are all just over the moon,” she emotionally added.
Elsewhere in the revelatory social media series, the "Boys in the Summer" singer talked about how she broke the news to the soon-to-be dad-of-four, saying that he "didn't believe" her at first and thought that his wife was “playing a joke” until she “physically peed again on a stick.”
"It was shock for awhile [sic] there," the 35-year-old remembered.
The news that she was expecting was revealed on August 22 with a sweet video debuting her growing baby bump.
