Jessie J Announces Birth of First Child In Sweet Post

Jessie J is officially a mom!

The “Masterpiece” singer confirmed the exciting news in a touching note shared on her Instagram Story on Friday, May 19.

The 35-year-old revealed that she gave birth to her first child, a son, a week ago, noting “my whole life changed.”

“My son entered the world and my heart grew twice the size. The feeling is indescribable. I am flying in love. He is magic. He is all my dreams come true. He is my whole [world],” she wrote.

In the note, she gave fans an update on how she and her rainbow baby were doing and what motherhood has been like so far.

“He and I are both doing great. I am soaking up every second and still can’t believe he is real, here and mine. I am so grateful phew," she noted.

Finally, she shouted out fans who have been following her journey, adding, “thank you for all your continued support.”

And as every new mom who knows that this time is precious and needs to be soaked up as it goes by way too quickly, she announced that she would be taking a break from social media, promising to be back when she’s “ready.”

The “Bang Bang” crooner, who revealed that she suffered a miscarriage in November 2021, first announced her pregnancy in January.

“I am so happy and terrified to finally share this,” she wrote at the time while asking users to “please be gentle with” her.

“Honestly, ya girl just wants to ugly cry in public in a catsuit eating a chocolate covered pickle with no questions asked,” she added in a reveal that included a positive pregnancy test, footage from the ultrasound, and adorable bump photos.

At the time, she also explained that she has decided to have a baby on her own.

Since the announcement, she’s been providing fans with pregnancy updates via her social media channels.
