Jessica Simpson’s Friends Are ‘Extremely Worried’ She Is Wasting Away

As the “Irresistible” singer continues to rapidly lose weight over the past few years, friends are expressing their concern for her well-being. They’re starting to wonder if she’s using healthy methods to drop the pounds. “She continues to lose more and more weight, and it’s alarming,” an insider close to the blonde beauty told Radar, adding that her friends are “extremely worried about her.” Fans also expressed concern about Simpson’s size as she’s been proudly flaunting her small physique on social media.

The star famously lost 100 pounds following the birth of her daughter Birdie, who is now three. Simpson hasn’t been shy about her weight loss journey. She recently revealed that her tone-up was mostly because of a healthy, balanced diet. “I went to a nutritionist, and I needed to get my eating habits right,” Simpson explained. She continued saying that her new shape and size has made her feel and look younger and given her more energy. “But she continues to lose more and more weight, and it’s alarming,” said a source.

The Dukes of Hazzard star’s decreasing waistline is raising eyebrows, especially after she posted a selfie of herself in her middle school cheerleader uniform. “At 42, with three children, what woman fits into clothes she wore as a child? Someone [needs to] step in and help her” one fan wrote. On another post, a fan noted, “Jessica appears to weigh less than her ten-year-old daughter, Maxwell.”

Simpson’s longtime trainer, Harley Pasternak, insisted the singer dropped the weight in a healthy way. “My mantra is you get lean in life and strong in the gym,” he said. “So the majority of the weight loss actually came from everything she did outside of the gym [as far as being active], and then everything in the gym is about toning and tightening.”

Jessica Simpson Addressed Concerns In The Past And Hits Back At Social Media Trolls

After some fans grew concerned that her ever-shrinking frame, Simpson addressed her insane (and a little controversial) 100-pound weight loss transformation. “As much as I have learned to block out destructive noise…peoples’ comments and judgments can still hurt deeply with their incessant nagging ‘you will never be good enough,” she said.

The fashion designer opened up about her impressive weight loss after giving birth to her third child in a candid interview with Extra. In the interview, Extra‘ Terri Seymour asked if she will ever get used to all the obsession about her weight.

“Oh, gosh, no. Would any woman? I’ve been criticized, and it hurts, but I’ve been every weight and I’ve been proud of it. I decided, ‘Okay, everybody is going to talk about my weight all the time, I might as well make money off of it and turn it into a business of selling clothes and acceptance.'”

Jessica Simpson Sparks Controversial Comments On Her Extreme Weight Loss: ”What Happened To Her?!’

Simpson once again had fans extremely worried about her weight loss. On Saturday, Feb. 18, Simpson shared photos on Instagram of her family’s Valentine’s Day plans. The pictures featured the family’s sweet festivities with the pop star, 42, her husband Eric Johnson, 43, and their three kids, Maxwell, 10, Birdie, 9, and Ace, 3. The star decked out her home in all things Valentine’s with reds, pinks, and hearts. They gave the kids piles of stuffed animals and chocolate treats. The post sparked a controversial debate with fans commenting about how extremely thin the singer looks. The comment section focused on her extreme weight loss and followers were left wondering “what happened to her?!.”

One Instagram user wrote, “She looks like she’s a corpse or a skeleton barely alive. Very worrying,” with a crying emoji while another added, “She could use a few bowls of pasta, her kids are bigger than her that’s when you should know there’s a problem.”

While some commenters body-shamed The Dukes Of Hazard actress for her worrying weight loss, many fans clapped back at the critics. “All the comments make me sad. I hope Jessica never reads them. It feels like a form of bullying. To me, Jessica looks like a Mom who likes to do it up for her family on Valentine’s Day. Lots of love, lots of red and pink.. lots of stuffies! I love it.. thanks for sharing the good times with us,” another supporter added with a heart emoji, “@jessicasimpson I’d turn off the comments section on this post to protect your mental wellbeing. Apparently, many people do not know how to follow the Golden Rule. Sending love.”
