Jessica Simpson's Daughter Birdie Looks Just Like Her Mom in This New Photo

Jessica Simpson and her husband, Eric Johnson, produce extremely adorable children: Maxwell Drew, Ace Knute, and Birdie Mae.

While all three bear a resemblance to their famous mom, baby Birdie is Simpson's absolute doppelgänger. Their similarities are especially on display in a new photo that the singer/fashion designer/best-selling author posted on Instagram of herself and the little girl—who turned one in March—with the caption, “Cali Cowgirls 💕”

Check out the photo for yourself, below, and you'll see what we're talking about.

Need more evidence? Luckily, Simpson isn't shy about sharing pics of herself with little Birdie.

She also wrote a sweet message to her little girl on her first birthday. “Happy 1st Birthday my angel Birdie Mae! You have created in me a healing purposeful life to live most fully and love most deeply. With you my soul has been set free to the beauty of pure light,” Simpson said. “You guide me to shine because your heartbeat connected me to mine. Sweet baby girl, you have illuminated all of our worlds with your bright mystical star-bursting smile. I am forever yours, you are forever mine. Life get ready because the both of us were born ready. I love you! 💕#BIRDIEMAE”

It's honestly so great to see how happy Jessica Simpson is these days. If you read her best-selling memoir, Open Book, you know she has been through it—from her struggles with alcohol and dieting to family stresses and her pre-Johnson relationships.

The couple also appears to still be very much in love, recently celebrating their sixth wedding anniversary…with a giant crystal butterfly

“Eric Johnson, my Husband, I love you. 6yrs ago today I married my perfect soulmate. Our unity was written in God’s sky of colliding stars,” Simpson wrote on Instagram. “Together we manifest dreams, nurture desire, and hold space. Destined, it always has been and always will be, forevermore. Also, anyone who knows me at all knows that this crystal butterfly is my dream gift 🦋. ‘Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same’”
