Jessica Simpson Snaps a No-Makeup Shower Selfie

Jessica Simpson is at it again with her makeup-free selfies.
The "I Wanna Love You Forever" singer delighted fans over the weekend with a new photo of herself fresh out of the shower.
Looking as fabulous as ever, Simpson puckered up for the camera in the first slide, wearing a bit of chapstick, some simple gold jewelry and a classic black tank top. She kept her damp hair tucked out of her face in a neat braid. A second photo shared showed off her adorable pup, who was also about that shower life.
"This shower was LIT so I snapped a selfie 😜," she joked in the caption of the post, shared to her Instagram grid on Sunday, July 16.
"I have never been in a shower that has a mirror- who has time to look at themselves shower?" she added. "I would have soap in my eyeballs!"
The snaps were immediately a huge hit with fans, who took to the comments to hype up the star.
"Now there’s a gorgeous no makeup selfie!" one Instagram user exclaimed.
Another top comment quipped, "men need mirror showers to shave Jessica," in response to the rhetorical question posed in part of the star's caption.

A few naysayers also popped up in the comments, sharing rude remarks regarding the pop star's look–but they didn't last long, as Simpson's followers quickly came to her defense.
"The way you all are getting on here to discuss this woman’s appearance is sickening! Who do you think you are to even do so in the first place?! Ask yourselves if you would say these hurtful things to this woman if she was standing right next to you! I really hope you wouldn’t! BE KIND! This is absolutely ridiculous! Many blessings to you, Jessica 🤍," one outraged fan shared.
"If you are here just to criticize someone because she looks... Hot and beautiful please get a life 😒 not our business, her life, her body," another suggested.
The mom of three, who only recently turned 43, also received backlash last week after sharing fresh-faced selfies on IG that her fans called deceiving. She also denied that she ever used the controversial weight-loss drug Ozempic.
