Jessica Simpson Shared a Stunning Makeup-Free Selfie on Her 40th Birthday

Jessica Simspon turned 40 this week, and the multi-hyphenate mom of three is clearly feeling amazing in her skin. In fact, she's been really into embracing the no-makeup life lately, and on her birthday, it was no different. The Open Book author shared a celebratory mirror selfie on Instagram in which she appears to be bare-faced, and as always, her fans are loving it — as are we.

In the birthday snapshot, Simpson is wearing a super casual outfit consisting of True Religion jeans that she's had for 14 years and a purple hoodie. The caption reads: "I have kept these throwback True Religion jeans in my closet for 14 yrs (I’m not exaggerating!). I figured that since I’m in the final hours of my 30's I’d give them another try, and hello 40, so nice to meet you 🤸🏼‍♀️🙌🏼🥳."

The "With You" singer may have just entered her 40s, but fans are saying she looks far younger. For instance, they're leaving comments like, "You look about 15 lady 👌🏻" and "Happy birthday gorgeous you don't look a day over 25!!"

As we mentioned above, Simpson has been all about wearing less makeup lately. Most recently, she shared a fresh-faced selfie while signing copies of her memoir, and folks — ourselves included — couldn't stop raving about how great her skin looks. Seriously though: We want her skin-care routine, stat.
