Jessica Simpson Puckers Up for Silly Selfie at Walgreens

Jessica Simpson took a trip to Walgreens to grab a tool for some project, but on the way, she got distracted by a very familiar face and decided to snap a photo.
The 43-year-old shared a photo on Instagram of herself making a kissy face at the camera while posing with none other than herself in the form of a sign for hair products from her brand.
The display features the Jessica Simpson Collection logo and an image of Simpson, with a range of products on sale, including hair bands, clips, and barrettes.
Simpson captioned the selfie, "Look who I found at Walgreens late last night searching for a screwdriver 🤣."
Fans loved Simpson's silly photo, with one commenting, "Only JS goes to Walgreens searching for a screwdriver. 🤣 Love her!! 👏🙌🔥."

A third praised the mother of three, "You are the biggest inspiration to women!! Beautiful soul inside and out! ❤️."
Many also celebrated the Jessica Simpson Collection and talked about their favorite products, with one requesting the return of a certain product line, commenting, "We need your edible body care back mama."
Simpson and her mother, Tina Simpson, founded the company in 2005, and it has achieved extreme success. Unfortunately, challenges came in 2021 when the parent company, Sequential Brands, filed for bankruptcy. The mother-daughter pair decided to buy back the company, and now in 2023, Simpson and her mother have full ownership of the Jessica Simpson Company.
Simpson spoke with Bustle about the difficulties she faced regarding this situation, with the singer putting her home up for collateral and liquidating her stock portfolio to ensure the deal went through.
She said, “I talked to my mom in-depth about it, and I was like, I think it’s time for us to do this on our own. We either sink with the ship, or we jump and hope to find a lifesaver. And really, that lifesaver was ourselves.”
Luckily, it worked out, and the Jessica Simpson Company plans to launch a line of hair care products next year.
